How I Can Help

There are many reasons why you might be considering to come to therapy. It might be because something has happened in your life and you are not sure how to deal with it, perhaps you are navigating a life transition, dealing with anxiety or depression, or finding relationships challenging. You may be finding that the same things keep happening and you want to understand why. There may not be anything specific, you may just feel that something is not working in your life. Whatever it is you can bring it to therapy.

Supporting Parents

Becoming a parent can be a joyous life event, but the transition can be challenging in ways that you never anticipated. The loss of personal autonomy, the loss of identity, neglect of self and personal wellbeing and the isolation and constant worry of not feeling that you are enough or doing enough as a parent can all be overwhelming. In whichever way you have come to parenting I will work with you to navigate this important life transition.

Counselling for Adults Affected by Adoption, Fostering or Special Guardianship

I offer counselling for adults affected by adoption, fostering or special guardianship. It could be that you are a birth parent, an adoptive parent or foster carer, or you may be taking care of a child/children under a Special Guardianship Order. I provide support to explore the complexities such as loss and grief and issues around identity and attachment among others.
